1. Program overview

The BBos Reseller Program is a straightforward, single-tier referral program open to anyone worldwide. We believe in keeping things simple and fair — every reseller gets the same terms, whether you're in Los Angeles, Lagos, Berlin, or Buenos Aires.

One tier. One rate. One set of rules. Simple by design.

2. Commission structure

The commission structure is simple and transparent:

  • 20% recurring commission on every paying customer you bring in through your unique referral code.
  • Commission runs for 24 months from that customer's original sign-up date, as long as they remain an active paying subscriber.
  • If a referred customer cancels and later resubscribes, the 24-month clock does not reset. Commission continues only for whatever time remains in the original 24-month window.
  • After 24 months, the commission window closes for that customer. To continue earning, simply keep referring new customers.
  • Commission is calculated on net subscription revenue — meaning the amount BBos actually receives after payment processing fees (e.g., Stripe/credit card fees) are deducted. Professional services (onboarding, training, consulting) that you offer independently to your referrals are yours to price and keep — BBos does not pay commission on them and does not take a cut.

3. Payment Terms

  • All customer payments are processed directly through BBos. This ensures consistency and protects both parties.
  • Reseller commissions are paid monthly, on or before the 10th of each month, for the prior month's active referred customers.
  • Payments are made via electronic transfer (ACH) to a U.S. bank account that you provide in your reseller dashboard. All resellers, regardless of location, must have a U.S. bank account to receive commission payments. International resellers can obtain a U.S. bank account through services such as Wise, Mercury, Relay, or similar providers.
  • Minimum payout threshold: $50 USD. If your monthly commission is below $50, it rolls over to the next month.
  • You are responsible for all taxes owed on your commission income in your jurisdiction. BBos will issue tax documentation as required by applicable law (e.g., 1099 forms for U.S.-based resellers).

4. Becoming a reseller

To become an authorized BBos reseller, you must:

  1. Complete the free, self-paced BBos Training Course — video modules and documentation covering product knowledge, feature walkthroughs, use cases, and brand guidelines.
  2. Pass the BBos Certification Exam — an online, open-book test of approximately 60 questions. You must score 80% or higher to pass.
  3. Accept these Reseller Program Terms in full.

If you don't pass on your first attempt, no worries — you can retake the exam once per week. Use the time between attempts to review the training materials, and try again when you're ready. There's no limit on the number of attempts.

Recertification is required annually. You must pass a refreshed version of the exam each year to maintain your active reseller status. If you fail to recertify, your reseller status is suspended until you pass. Commission continues to accrue on existing referred customers during suspension, but you cannot generate new referral codes.

There are no application fees, no minimum sales requirements, and no geographic restrictions. If you pass the exam, you're in.

5. Program Rules

These guidelines ensure a fair and transparent program for everyone involved:

5.1 Referral code attribution only

Commission is earned exclusively on customers attributed to your unique referral code. Customers can enter a referral code during registration or later on their Billing page, but the code must be entered within 30 days of the customer's original sign-up date. After 30 days, no referral code can be applied. There is no geographic attribution and no claiming customers who found BBos through other channels.

5.2 BBos retains direct sales rights

BBos always retains the right to sell directly to any customer, anywhere in the world. If a customer finds BBos organically, through our own marketing, or through any channel other than your referral code, that customer belongs to BBos.

5.3 No exclusivity

There is no territorial exclusivity, regional exclusivity, industry exclusivity, or any other form of exclusivity. Multiple resellers can and will operate in the same markets. This is by design.

5.4 No equity

The reseller program is a commercial relationship. It does not include equity grants, equity options, or revenue-share-to-equity conversions of any kind.

5.5 No custom deals

To ensure fairness, there is one program with one set of terms for everyone, published publicly. All resellers operate under the same rates and conditions.

5.6 Brand representation

As a certified reseller, you may use BBos-provided marketing materials and the "BBos Certified Reseller" badge. BBos is building a public Partner Directory where officially recognized resellers will be listed by country — giving you added credibility and visibility with potential clients. You may not misrepresent your relationship with BBos, imply that you are an employee or officer of BBos, or make promises about BBos features, pricing, or roadmap that are not publicly documented.

5.7 Customer relationship

Referred customers are BBos customers. BBos owns the customer relationship, handles all billing, provides all platform support, and controls the product experience. You are welcome to provide supplementary services (consulting, onboarding assistance, training) but you do not control the customer's BBos account.

5.8 Prohibited conduct

Resellers may not engage in spam, misleading advertising, false claims about BBos or competitors, cookie stuffing, self-referrals, or any activity that violates applicable laws. BBos reserves the right to immediately terminate any reseller who engages in prohibited conduct, with forfeiture of unpaid commissions.

5.9 Sanctions compliance

Resellers must comply with all applicable U.S. and international trade sanctions, export controls, and embargo regulations. Resellers are strictly prohibited from selling, promoting, or facilitating access to BBos in the following sanctioned countries and territories: Cuba, North Korea (DPRK), Iran, Syria, Russia, the Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions of Ukraine, as well as any other country or territory subject to comprehensive U.S. sanctions as designated by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC). Resellers may not refer or onboard any individual or entity that appears on the OFAC Specially Designated Nationals (SDN) List, the U.S. Commerce Department Entity List, or any other applicable restricted party list. Violation of sanctions compliance is grounds for immediate termination and forfeiture of all unpaid commissions, and may result in civil or criminal penalties under applicable law.

6. Program modifications

  • BBos may modify these program terms, including commission rates, with 90 days written notice to active resellers. BBos also reserves the right to change platform pricing, pricing structure, and subscription plans at any time — these are product decisions independent of the reseller program. BBos may also discontinue the reseller program entirely with 90 days written notice. In such case, commission obligations for existing referred customers will be honored for the remainder of each customer's individual 24-month window.
  • When commission rates change, existing referred customers are grandfathered at the original rate for the remainder of their 24-month commission window.
  • New referrals made after the effective date of a rate change are subject to the new rate.
  • Continued participation in the program after the effective date of any modification constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

7. Termination

  • Either party may terminate this reseller relationship with 30 days written notice.
  • Upon termination, commission continues on existing referred customers for the remainder of their individual 24-month windows. No new referral codes may be generated.
  • BBos may terminate immediately and without notice in cases of fraud, prohibited conduct, material misrepresentation, or violation of these terms. In such cases, BBos reserves the right to withhold unpaid commissions.
  • Voluntary termination does not affect your ability to reapply for the program in the future, subject to passing the then-current certification exam.

Commission is 20% of net subscription revenue (after payment processing fees) for 24 months per customer. The figures above are estimates based on gross pricing and assume all customers remain active. Actual earnings depend on customer retention, plan selection, amount of active users, and applicable processing fees.

9. Frequently asked questions

Q: Can I get exclusivity for my country or region?

A: The program does not offer exclusivity of any kind. It's designed to be universal — anyone, anywhere can participate on equal terms.

Q: Can I negotiate a higher commission rate?

A: The rate is 20% for all resellers. We intentionally keep it simple — one rate, no tiers, no volume bonuses — so everyone is on a level playing field.

Q: Do I need to provide customer support?

A: No. BBos handles all platform support directly. You're welcome to help your referrals with onboarding or consulting as a value-add, but it's not required.

Q: What happens if my referred customer upgrades or downgrades their plan?

A: Your commission adjusts accordingly. You always earn 20% of whatever subscription revenue that customer generates, for 24 months from their original sign-up date.

Q: What if a customer I referred cancels and comes back?

A: If they return within the original 24-month window, your commission resumes for the remaining time. The clock does not reset. If they return after the 24-month window has expired, they're a BBos customer with no commission owed.

Q: Do I need to be a BBos customer to become a reseller?

A: Yes. All resellers must be active BBos customers. We require this so that every reseller has real, hands-on experience with the platform — not just exam knowledge. Self-referrals (referring your own account) are not permitted.

Q: Is there a minimum number of referrals I need to make?

A: No. There are no quotas, no minimums, and no penalties for low activity. Refer one customer or one thousand — the terms are the same.

Q: How do I track my referrals and commissions?

A: Every certified reseller gets access to a dedicated partner dashboard where you can track referral sign-ups, active customers, commission accruals, and payment history in real time.

Q: Can I offer discounts to customers I refer?

A: No. Pricing is set by BBos. Resellers may not offer unauthorized discounts, credits, or pricing modifications. You can add value through your own consulting services instead.

Q: What happens to my commissions if BBos is acquired or merges?

A: These reseller terms survive any change of control. A successor entity is bound by the same commission obligations for the remainder of each referred customer's 24-month window.

11. Legal

This Reseller Program Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising under this agreement shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Los Angeles County, California, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

This agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties regarding the reseller relationship and supersedes all prior negotiations, representations, or agreements relating to the subject matter herein.

If any provision of this agreement is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
